b) Integrate the interests of actors representing
different economic sectors and the community.
c) Facilitate the stage for resolving conflicts that may
arise between the actors involved in the management
program, whether interest in use of natural resources,
defining issues and management priorities, or other
causes of conflict that arise during any stage of the
process.
d) Encourage the participation of the community and
non-governmental organizations as members of the
Management Authority and throughout the process of
development and implementation of Integrated
Coastal Management Program.
e) Facilitate the flow of information for
decision-making in the context of Integrated Coastal
Management Program.
f) To promote collaboration between industry, research,
community and government.
g) Evaluate and propose ways of financial for the
implementation of the actions of Integrated Coastal
Management Program.
h) To harmonize the Program Action Plan with the
administrations of protected areas located in areas that
comprise its application in order to ensure consistency
with the Management Plans for Protected Areas.
Once approved the program and performed of the
tasks set out in the Schedule of work, it will be
monitored every two month, semi-annual balances and
monitoring actions by the Office for the Integrated
Coastal Management.
8 Implementation Strategies: Action Plan
The Action Plan for Integrated Coastal Zone
Management in areas adjacent to the coastal village of
Playa Florida Florida (Table 3) has as main objective
to solve or mitigate the environmental problems
identified in the environmental assessment of the zone
through a set of actions to be developed in the
proposed time for the Management Program.
It also aims to solve the conflicts that arise in the
community in relation to the environment, society and
the local economy.
8.1 Schedule for implementation of the Program
Program implementation will be performed using all
possible participative ways such as workshops,
meetings, lectures, both in the community and within
the framework of the institutions participating in the
program.
