Policy-level support is also very important for promoting the sharing of infants in the same room. The recognition of the World Health Organization and the "Baby-Friendly Hospital" initiative has promoted the implementation of this model on a global scale. However, relevant policies still need to be further improved, with a focus on unifying operational procedures, increasing staffing, providing training resources, and enhancing patient education. At the same time, hospitals should also improve their hardware facilities, such as renovating wards to meet the needs of sharing rooms with infants, ensuring the safety of mothers and infants, and equipping high-risk mothers and infants with necessary monitoring systems. Continuous assessment and quality improvement measures help identify problems and constantly optimize the implementation effect of room-sharing with infants, thereby ensuring safety while maximizing its benefits.
